Q&A:
Q1: According to the RFP preliminary information, water intake is 300,000 – 400,000 tonnes/a, and it is said that other emissions include treated wastewater. Does the information regarding water intake and wastewater apply to both sites or only the second site?
A1: Yes, both sites.
Q2: How is treated wastewater managed/where is it discharged?
A2: It will be treated locally on site to comply with regulations and sent back with municipal sewage.
Q3: Is there heat load coming from the plant?
A3: Yes. This will be further studied, but the tentative plan is to integrate this into the local district heating network for both sites. Any residual low grade will be removed further through water and/or air cooling.
Q4: How water intake is managed; is it taken from the water supply network?
A4: For now, please assume that we will get municipal water for the process water.
