The need
A transition to all-electric solutions for industry equipment is needed. Autonomous driving in vehicles also requires electrical steering control. However, no substitute to hydraulic cylinders exist for large, heavy lifting or steering applications that demand higher forces or precise control.

Cascade Drives’ electromechanical linear drive utilises a unique gearbox technology which enables high performance capabilities of high load and high speed capacity as well as high energy efficiency and accurate control.
