InnoEnergy was one of the sponsors of the 34th edition of the Automobile Industry Congress, organised by IESE on 29-30 October, in Madrid.

IESE AUTO was attended by several market players, producers and associations to discuss the future of the automotive sector, providing a premier platform for senior executives from the automotive industry, industry experts and leading academics to exchange ideas about the future of the industry of industries.

One of the big focus was the electrification of the sector given that, according to the data shared during the event, by 2025 the percentage of electric vehicles over the total market will be 50%.

Diego Pavia, InnoEnergy’s CEO, presented in detail the new battery ecosystem in Europe, supported by the European Battery Alliance, that will be a strong ally in the electrification of Europe’s fleet. The CEO also explained that there’s a future for sustainability that can be monetised.

In the same event, BMW also pointed out Northvolt, one of InnoEnergy’s supported start-ups, as the future of the global supply of the group.
