The startup which produces hydrogen refill stations from electrolysers raised more than 25 million euros from several entities: the IDEC group, Bpifrance, Banque Populaire Auvergne Rhône Alpes, Crédit Agricole Alpes Développement and BNP Paribas.
This new round will enable Atawey to accelerate its growth in Europe, to finance the opening of a new plant on the Technolac site and to double ts workforce by 2025.
Having already deployed 23 hydrogen stations in France, representing a 40% market share, Atawey is now targeting the Spanish market. A few dozen stations should be set up in Spain in the next few years, the first of which will be in 2024. Actually, the startup will open an office in Madrid in the next few days. Its European development will also fo through Another the Benelux countries, Italy and Germany.
