EOLOS, a start-up supported by EIT InnoEnergy, hires senior executive Félix Urrea to lead its Operations Department, commencing 1st July 2022. As Chief Operating Officer (COO), the role will be an integral part of the Management team.
Félix Urrea, a recognised C-suite executive within the wind-power and energy sector has had former roles including former General Manager of Ecotècnia, Vice-President of Operations Alstom Wind and Commercial Operations Executive within GE Renewable Energy. Urrea most recently held the role of CEO at Spanish based CEGASA, a leader in energy storage systems.
Urrea will lead and mentor the growing project execution team within EOLOS, consistent with the company’s growth and the breadth of projects EOLOS has secured. Fluent in four languages, the appointment of Urrea to EOLOS has been the result of an extensive search to ensure EOLOS executes its backlog with excellence across the globe, recent wins this quarter alone include campaigns in Korea, USA, Lithuania and Scot Wind projects.
