InnoEnergy’s expertise, knowledge and solutions in IKEA workshops

The greatest emphasis was put on the topic of circular economy in energy sector.

IKEA workshops for suppliers

InnoEnergy, the European innovation engine for sustainable energy, on the 6 March 2019 participated in the workshops organized by the IKEA Purchasing and Logistics Area Central Europe for selected suppliers from Europe, bringing expertise knowledge and specific solutions related to sustainable energy usage and circularity.

Circular economy in energy sector

During the workshops, InnoEnergy’s representatives discussed topics of energy efficiency and waste heat, renewables and self-generation, as well as bioenergy and waste. The greatest emphasis was put on the topic of circular economy in energy sector.

InnoEnergy products and solutions presented

Moreover, IKEA’s event was a great opportunity for InnoEnergy’s entrepreneurs to showcase their intelligent solutions. One of the presented startups was Bin-e, a Polish company that has created intelligent waste bin for convenient waste management and automatic segregation. Other products and solutions that were presented by InnoEnergy are Energiency, Bee2Energy, BeON, BioEcoMatic, MEVA Energy and Ingelia.

IKEA is a global leader in targeting sustainable solutions, creating better environment for customers by application of renewables and recycling practices in products lifecycle. These objectives are very close to InnoEnergy and EIT goals of creating and implementing innovative technologies in cleantech areas.
