The Hello CleanTech programme offers a multitude of benefits that significantly enhance the growth and development of participating start-ups, innovators, and researchers. Through access to services provided by programme partners in specific tracks, participants gain tailored support and resources aligned with their unique needs and objectives. Participants have the opportunity to collaborate with leading industrials, potentially accessing relevant infrastructure and resources crucial for scaling their solutions. The programme accelerates the investment process streamlining access to vital funding for further innovation and expansion. By connecting with global venture capital funds and community partners, participants expand their networks and unlock new avenues for growth and collaboration on a global scale.

The programme garnered significant interest, drawing in 283 startups who eagerly submitted their applications. The programme partners meticulously evaluated each submission, working closely with EIT InnoEnergy to handpick the startups chosen to participate in the Demo Day.

The culminating event of the programme, the Demo Day, was held online on 19. March. At the event, 11 finalists presented their innovative solutions, showcasing their unwavering dedication to advancing clean technologies:

• Circu Li-Ion: is a data-driven disassembly and diagnostic technology that enables to maximises the value of all used batteries and their components,
• Carbominer: provides green CO₂ from the outdoors to help indoor farmers grow crops more sustainably,
• NOC Energy: provides a system that converts carbon-free electricity into sustainable, storable heat that efficiently outperforms natural gas,
• Biostra: provides a technology that efficiently converts bio-waste into high-quality organic mineral fertiliser, Soilren,
• BatteryCheck: provides continuous monitoring and predictive analytics to help organisations safely operate the batteries in their devices,
• Carbonaide: provides a technology to capture and store carbon dioxide in the precast concrete industry.
• ParaStruct: decarbonises the construction industry and ensures resource efficiency through digital manufacturing technologies and recyclable materials,
• Salty: offers environmentally friendly, safe and low-cost Salt-Water Batteries,
• Smart Materials: brings a new manufacturing process that enables Auxetic flexible PU foam to be produced in large volumes,
• flo: develops affordable and reliable long-duration energy storage systems,
• Polygreen: provides a sustainable Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) material and technology to the personal hygiene industry.

The event drew nearly a hundred representatives from partners and guests. They seized the opportunity to engage with the startups and delving into discussions to gain deeper insights into their projects.
