Four years ago, Swiss explorer, psychiatrist and environmentalist Bertrand Piccard set the challenge of selecting 1000 solutions to protect the environment in a profitable way.
On 26th October 2017, EIT InnoEnergy signed a letter of agreement with the World Alliance for Efficient Solutions, to enhance the impact and increase the synergies of clean, smart and energy efficient technologies. The signing took place during the opening day of EIT InnoEnergy’s annual innovation event, The Business Booster (TBB), and marked the beginning of a formal cooperation between the two organisations.
Today, the Solar Impulse Foundation has reached their biggest milestone to date. With their experts and partners, they have identified, assessed and labelled 1,000 technological solutions worldwide, capable of protecting the environment in a financially profitable way – from the following sectors:
