Open call for EIT InnoEnergy Hub applications in Hungary and Turkey

EIT InnoEnergy Hubs are local offices operated by ambitious partners, who are looking to build their local position, strengthen their business model and become a leading actor in the local ecosystem by playing a role in our European Network. We are currently looking for partners to operate EIT InnoEnergy Hubs supported by the EIT InnoEnergy Power Alliance platform in the following countries: Hungary & Turkey.

EIT InnoEnergy HUB’s scope

  • Identify, develop, and support promising ideas, startups and entrepreneurs.
  • Provide access to EIT InnoEnergy services
  • Host and promote co-branded events (i.e. PowerUp! Competition, TBB, etc).
  • Perform innovation capacity building services, pre-acceleration programmes.
  • Actively promote EIT InnoEnergy Business Model and participate in the local ecosystem
  • Perform local business development services and support sales channels for EIT InnoEnergy portfolio.

I Stage – application and shortlist (max 110 p)

  • You apply by sending your application and we will select the best candidates according to the Evaluation ScoreBoard. The ones that pass over the minimum threshold will qualify for Stage II.
  • Maximum amount of points you can achieve is 110, according to the scoreboard below.

Stage II – a pitching session + interview (max 40 p.)

  • We will contact the successful candidates from Stage I and arrange a pitching session in person or via video conference to further validate the application.
  • Maximum amount of points you can achieve in this Stage is 40 points.
  • After the interview, the amount of points from Stage 2 will be added to the candidate’s score form Stage I and the Final Selection will be concluded.
  • In the Final Selection only one candidate from each country will be selected to become an EIT InnoEnergy Hub.

Calendar:

  • Application deadline: 10th of December 2020 11:59 PM.
  • Results from Stage I: 11th of December 2020
  • Interview calendar Stage II: 14th – 18th of December 2020
  • Final Results: 21st of December 2020

Contract duration:

  • December 31, 2021

EIT InnoEnergy Hubs are supported by the EIT InnoEnergy Power Alliance – an initiative funded through the European Institute of Innovation & Technology Regional Innovation Scheme (EIT RIS), which is a framework developed to increase the innovation capacity in regions in Europe not directly benefitting from the EIT or EIT InnoEnergy activities.
