Sustainable homes initiative secures investment from EIT InnoEnergy, DOEN Participaties and Mijndomein Energie
Woon Duurzaam, the full lifecycle home sustainability solutions provider, signed three contracts totaling €700k last week at EIT InnoEnergy’s The Business Booster in Paris, France.
Investors include EIT InnoEnergy, Europe’s largest sustainable energy accelerator, DOEN Participaties an impact investor in sustainable and social start-ups, and Mijndomein Energie, which makes generating energy locally widely accessible.
Woon Duurzaam already has dozens of homeowners using its online service across the Netherlands. The company offers tailored advice and implementation solutions to improve the sustainability of homes, with the goal to make homes gas-free or even completely energy-neutral. The cost of these sustainability improvements can be spread over several years and is compensated by substantial energy bill savings.
