Accurate solar power generation forecasts
SteadyMet provides weather and production forecasts up to 15 days ahead. This product combines several sources of Numerical Weather Predictions (NWP) data with physical models and artificial intelligence.
The need
Solar power is highly variable—a cloud can cut output by 80% in minutes. Accurate forecasts are essential to integrate PV into grids and markets, optimise revenues, reduce penalties, support trading and maintenance, and ensure grid stability at a lower cost.

Steadysun provides ultra-accurate solar forecasts from a few minutes up to 15 days ahead, updated every 5 minutes and down to a 1-minute time step. Combining SteadyMet’s multi-model approach (20+ global NWP models and AI algorithms) with SteadySat’s real-time satellite imagery, our forecast solution anticipates solar power fluctuations with confidence and reliability.
