Join us on 11 December online as European Commission Executive Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič delivers a keynote and awards certificates to 5 learners of the European Battery Alliance (EBA) Academy. The EBA Academy was launched by EVP Šefčovič in 2022. 

European Commissioner Nicolas Schmit will deliver a special message, emphasising the importance of upskilling in the context of the European Year of Skills.

Director of InnoEnergy Skills Institute Oana Penu will share the Skills Institute’s perspective and insights into the skills and jobs needed in the battery industry. The InnoEnergy Skills Institute — an evolution from the European Battery Alliance (EBA) Academy, supported by the European Commission, is a living blueprint for Net-Zero Academies across diverse value chains.  

Hear testimonies from learners across five Member States, who will share their experiences with EBA Academy learning content and skills they gained that equip them for jobs in the dynamic battery industry. 

Join the event online to witness a milestone as 50,000 learners successfully complete training under the EBA Academy framework since its launch in 2022. This exponential increase is a testament to the unwavering support from over 11 Member States, each a signatory to a Memorandum of Understanding. The pivotal role played by strategic partnerships with industry leaders like ManpowerGroup and NIIT, combined with our expanding network of Local Training Providers (LTPs), has been instrumental in achieving this success.
